Marlow is a brand identity and creative direction studio based in Toronto.
We work with founders who've already done the hard part — built the expertise, the client base, the reputation — but whose visual identity hasn't caught up. The work is good. It just doesn't look like it yet.
Our approach sits at the intersection of strategy, design and storytelling. Before we design anything, we ask what the brand is actually for, who it's speaking to, and what it needs to say without saying too much. What follows is considered rather than trend-led — identities built to hold up over time, not just launch well.
We work across brand strategy, identity design, creative direction and campaign development, along with packaging, social and web design direction for brands ready to extend what they've built.
Marlow was founded by Mackenzie Beane, who grew up in Northern Ontario before moving to Toronto to work in-house at a design agency. That background — equal parts editorial instinct and small-town groundedness — shapes how the studio works: direct, unhurried, and allergic to hype.
We take on a small number of clients at a time. It's the only way the work stays this considered.
